7 repair questions for this model
Each individual guide links a specific symptom or fault code to checks, expected results, possible fixes, and a post-repair test.
The GPW2300 has automatic trigger-demand operation. A unit that seems silent with the switch on may simply be waiting for the spray-gun trigger.
Low pressure can be caused by inadequate water supply, a kinked hose, clogged inlet screen or an incorrectly fitted pressure tip, not necessarily by the pump.
Output surging is associated with supply restrictions, air sucked into the inlet, a clogged water screen or inadequate line voltage in the GPW2300 troubleshooting table.
The manual identifies residual pressure, low voltage, extension-cord voltage drop and long storage among causes of a humming but nonstarting motor.
If the washer runs without water from the nozzle, check the tap, kinked garden hose and air in the pump. Never let the pump run dry.
The GPW2300 uses the low-pressure black soap nozzle. High-pressure tips are not designed to pull detergent.
A partially clogged nozzle can make the pressure pulse. The GPW2300 manual specifies cleaning the removed nozzle and back-flushing it with fresh water.
