COMMERCIAL ICE MAKERS / MODEL-SPECIFIC REPAIR

Why Does My VEVOR CIM-360T Show E3 and Fail to Release Ice?

Quick answer: Check whether evaporator produces normal ice first.

Safety first: Turn off and disconnect power before accessing the fan, pump, wiring or panels; shut off water for hose or inlet work. Refrigerant/compressor service requires certified refrigeration personnel.
Confirm exact model and variant

VEVOR CIM-360T with the E1/E2/E3/E5 table in the corresponding manual. Confirm the exact controller and machine-label revision before applying any code or service instruction.

Version check: Match the ice-maker controller revision before assuming an E-code has the same meaning across batches.

Find the cause and fix it

01

E3 appears after ice forms but won't release

HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
  1. Check whether evaporator produces normal ice first.
  2. Remove ice blockage and clean harvest mechanism and ice-full paddle/sensors with unit disconnected, leaving no loose tools inside.
How to tell it is fixed: Harvest releases sheets and returns to freezing without E3.
02

Unit makes ice but harvest stalls repeatedly

HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
  1. Check water circulation/defrost valve or release mechanism only using exact CIM-360T schematic, and have failed harvest actuator/valve replaced by qualified tech.
  2. Do not guess heating-element voltage.
How to tell it is fixed: Timed harvest finishes within normal cycle and no E3.
03

Ice is abnormal even before harvest

HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
  1. Clean pump inlet, check stable water feed and fan ventilation before condemning refrigerant system.
  2. Refrigeration repairs are licensed work.
How to tell it is fixed: Ice forms consistently and separates normally.

The fault definitions, named controls and any published specifications follow the linked documentation. Ordered isolation tests are conservative explanatory procedures, not a claim that all checks are verbatim factory service instructions. If the stated manual does not establish a measurement or part compatibility, this guide deliberately does not invent it.
