AUTOMATIC HEAT PRESSES / MODEL-SPECIFIC REPAIR

Why Is My HTVRONT Auto Heat Press Showing E1 or E2?

Quick answer: Power off and cool, provide a stable correctly rated wall outlet, keep unobstructed ventilation without direct fan/AC blowing at platen, then try one supervised startup.

Safety first: Treat the heating plate as hot long after switch-off. Unplug before moving or cleaning the press; do not defeat its interlocks or open mains-voltage and heater compartments. Keep fabric, cables and skin out of the moving platen.
Model and version covered

First-generation HTVRONT Auto Heat Press with Power, Temp, Time, +/−, R/start, Mode, Custom and Auto controls. This is not the Auto Heat Press 2, tumbler or H17 phone-case model.

Find the cause and fix it

01

E1 or E2 occurs after strong draft or unstable input

HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
  1. Power off and cool, provide a stable correctly rated wall outlet, keep unobstructed ventilation without direct fan/AC blowing at platen, then try one supervised startup.
How to tell it is fixed: Error clears and heat rises to target normally.
02

Code returns on stable outlet during preheat

HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
  1. Temperature sensing/heater control needs professional service with the first-generation module.
  2. Do not bypass a thermistor, defeat overtemperature protection or substitute a generic heat-press sensor.
How to tell it is fixed: Serviced unit holds target without E1/E2 through repeat preheat cycles.
