HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
- Stop and let plate cool, lower temperature or time to the ink/HTV manufacturer's approved setting, and use correct carrier/protective sheet with an expendable scrap first.
How to tell it is fixed: Scrap shows full bond without scorching.

Only seams or zipper areas overheat
HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
- Flatten and reposition garment to avoid elevated seams/fasteners causing uneven contact, or use a suitable heat-resistant pressing pad per textile guidance.
How to tell it is fixed: Image transfers evenly with no local hot spot.

Plate overshoots displayed setpoint even on correct settings
HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
- Stop use and have temperature-sensing/controller circuit checked, rather than continually compensating with lower settings.
How to tell it is fixed: Qualified temperature measurement confirms stable control, not dangerous overshoot.
