Safety first: Treat the heating plate as hot long after switch-off. Unplug before moving or cleaning the press; do not defeat its interlocks or open mains-voltage and heater compartments. Keep fabric, cables and skin out of the moving platen.

01
Design peels immediately after pressing
HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
- Confirm transfer is actually heat-transfer vinyl/compatible transfer paper, not ordinary adhesive vinyl.
- Follow the specific material supplier temperature, dwell time, pressure and warm/cold-peel instructions, not a guessed universal number.
How to tell it is fixed: Test square adheres after the correct peel and cool time.
02
Edges lift despite correct settings
HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
- Pre-press the garment briefly to remove moisture and wrinkles, place on a flat supported area free of seams/zippers and re-press using carrier/protective sheet compatible with that transfer.
How to tell it is fixed: Edges bond without scorching or carrier shifting.
03
One garment type repeatedly fails
HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
- Check fabric content and coating against transfer compatibility.
- Choose an adhesive/film rated for that textile, not excessive heat to compensate.
How to tell it is fixed: Wash-test test patch survives as transfer supplier specifies.
