Original E7 only. E7 Pro, E7 Plus, E7 EU and controller revisions may use different error mappings.
Fault codes and applicability
E07/E08 user reports are not a manufacturer-confirmed universal code mapping. Check the installed E7 control box first.
| Code | Manufacturer-defined meaning or evidence limit |
|---|---|
| AST / St | Reset-in-progress indicator on compatible controller |
| E01 / E02 | Operation duty cycle / protection warning per E7 manual |
| E07 / E08 | Motor/channel fault reported by E7 users; exact mapping is controller-specific and not verified in the base E7 manual |
6 repair questions for this model
Each individual guide links a specific symptom or fault code to checks, expected results, possible fixes, and a post-repair test.
Owners of E7 desks report E07/E08 during one-leg or motor/channel faults, but the exact electrical meaning depends on the installed control box. Use the E7-specific manual before trying a reset.
On the compatible E7 control handset, AST or St indicates a reset request. The manual instructs holding Down until the tabletop reaches the minimum height and rebounds.
If one E7 lifting column stays put, repeated operation can twist the frame. Check external connection integrity and the exact error before attempting any further movement.
The compatible E7 manual says to let the desk rest for 18 minutes when E01/E02 protection appears. This is not the same as an E07/E08 motor-channel problem.
If the E7 handset is dark, check the AC supply, control-box connection and external handset lead before using a reset procedure.
The E7 can reverse when anti-collision protection senses an obstruction. Do not disable safety protection to force movement.
