01
Robot spins after leaving dock but wheels not moving equally
HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
- Power off, remove fibers/debris from left and right drive wheels.
- Press each wheel gently to confirm suspension returns and both rotate with similar resistance.
How to tell it is fixed: Robot drives straight during short test from base.
02
Wheels free but robot cannot orient near dock
HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
- Clean cliff/side/navigation sensors with dry soft cloth, move dock away from mirrors/strong reflections and let robot relocalize.
How to tell it is fixed: Robot travels into mapped corridor without spinning.
03
Spins persist with obvious unequal drive speed
HOW TO CHECK & CORRECT THIS CAUSE
- Matched wheel motor/encoder or navigation sensor requires service after non-invasive checks.
- Don't force motion by pushing robot while running.
How to tell it is fixed: Straight-line travel and valid map localization after repair.

Ordered isolation tests are conservative explanatory procedures, not a claim that all checks are verbatim factory service instructions. If the stated manual does not establish a measurement or part compatibility, this guide deliberately does not invent it.
